How DNA Archive™ Works

With DNA Archive, you can store safe, stable DNA samples in the privacy of your own home or safe-deposit box. DNA Archive uses lab-quality tubes, UV-resistant packaging, and Sample-Matrix™ technology to ensure DNA samples can be preserved indefinitely.

Order online, swab at home, safely store your DNA Archive™ 

  1. Order Online. Place your order online and we'll send you a DNA Archive sample collection kit. (See kit)
  2. Collect Your DNA Sample At Home. Follow the simple instructions to collect a sample of DNA from your cheek cells with the cotton swab. 
  3. Mail Your Sample to the Lab in the postage-paid envelope.
  4. Receive Your DNA Archive, preserved with SampleMatrix™. When your sample arrives at the lab, you will receive an email notification. Within 7 to 10 business days, your DNA Archive preserved DNA will be ready. Your DNA Archive will contain 3 tubes of your preserved DNA, in attractive, UV-resistant packaging for storage in your home, safe deposit box, or anywhere of your choosing. (See DNA Archive)
